Getting started

Open your first session, share the join code, and watch the audience hear you in their own language.

Loquira lets one speaker reach an audience in many languages at once. You speak, and every listener hears you in their own language — almost instantly. No interpreter booth, no headsets to distribute, no app for anyone to install.

Here’s how to run your first translated session.

What you need

  • A Loquira account for the speaker. Listeners never need accounts.
  • Any modern browser on your device — Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari. See Browser support for the full list. You’ll need to allow microphone access.
  • A decent microphone. A lavalier or headset mic gives the best results, but a laptop mic works fine for quiet rooms. See Audio requirements for tips.
  • A way to share the code. Project the QR code on a screen, send it in a group chat, or simply read the 6-character code aloud — any phone with a camera works.

That’s it. No software to install, no network configuration, no IT department involved.

Starting your session

Go to app.loquira.com, sign in, and press Start Presenting. You’ll immediately see two things:

  1. A session code — a short, easy-to-read code like xq7m2p that you can share verbally or in writing.
  2. A QR code — listeners scan this to join directly, no typing needed.

Your session is live the moment the page loads. You can start speaking before anyone has joined.

Getting listeners in

Share the QR code or the session code with your audience. Each person scans the QR or types the code on their phone, picks their language, and they’re listening — no sign-up, no waiting room, no approval step.

On the Free plan, you can offer up to 2 languages — see Supported languages for the full list. Paid plans support more — see Plans and quotas for details.

Listeners can join and leave at any time without interrupting your session. Late arrivals pick up from wherever you are in your speech.

What your audience experiences

As you speak, each listener sees a live transcript in their chosen language and hears your words in a natural-sounding voice — with less than a second of delay.

On your screen, you’ll see the original transcript so you can confirm everything is being captured correctly.

When you end the session, a full transcript becomes available for download — every word, in every language your audience selected.
