What is Loquira?
Loquira is a realtime speech-translation platform. One speaker broadcasts, and every listener hears in their own language — no interpreter booth, no headsets, no app to install.
Do listeners need to download an app?
No. Listeners scan a QR code or enter a short code in their browser, pick their language, and start listening. It works on any phone, tablet, or laptop with a web browser.
How many languages does Loquira support?
Loquira supports 225 audience languages. 51 of these include full audio translation via natural-sounding text-to-speech, and the remaining 174 offer live text captions. The number of simultaneous languages per session depends on your plan.
What is a language-hour?
A language-hour is one output language active for one hour. A 1-hour talk translated into 3 languages uses 3 language-hours. Audience size does not affect cost — only the number of language tracks you offer.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes 2 language-hours (lifetime), up to 25 listeners, 3 languages, and 1-hour sessions. No credit card required. It's a one-time trial to experience Loquira before upgrading.
Can I use Loquira for large events?
Yes. The Max plan supports up to 350 concurrent listeners and 25 simultaneous languages. For events beyond that scale, our Enterprise plan offers unlimited capacity with self-hosted deployment options.
How accurate is the translation?
Loquira uses Deepgram Nova-3 for speech recognition (49 speaker language codes) and Google Cloud Translation for output. Paid plans use Google's advanced Translation LLM for higher quality. Latency is under one second in most conditions.
Can I download session transcripts?
Yes. Every session generates a full transcript in each language used. Transcripts are available to download as soon as the session ends, in a ready-to-archive format.
